1. Our Commitment

The Body by Becky is committed to ensuring that our website at www.thebodybybecky.co.uk and our clinic in Whitefield, Manchester are accessible to as many people as possible, including those with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities.

We continually review and improve the accessibility of our site and services, and we welcome feedback from our clients and visitors to help us identify areas for improvement.

2. Accessibility Standards

We aim for our site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This includes aiming to ensure that:

  • Text has sufficient contrast against background colours
  • The site can be navigated using a keyboard alone
  • Images include descriptive alternative text for screen reader users
  • Text can be resized without loss of content or functionality
  • Forms, including booking and enquiry forms, are clearly labelled and usable with assistive technology
  • The site is structured using clear headings and a logical reading order

We are an ongoing project in this regard, and there may be areas of the site that do not yet fully meet these standards. We are working to address these over time.

3. Compatibility with Assistive Technology

Our site is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including:

  • Screen readers (e.g. JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation

If you experience any difficulties using assistive technology with our site, please let us know so we can investigate and improve.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible — for example, some embedded third-party content (such as booking widgets or maps), PDF documents, or video content may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. If you encounter any barrier, please get in touch — we want to know about it and will work to fix it.
